An inspiring and uplifting book. I finished it more quickly than expected, having found myself keen to keep turning the pages to find out where the story was going and what would happen next. A beautifully written exquisite novel that is an evocative, engaging story. The many nuanced observations regarding behaviours revealing love and fear were absolutely believable, and carefully described. Great dialogue, excellent character development and vividly described settings. A novel about pursuing an authentic life with honesty, mystery and joy, and being present in each moment.

This is the story of Ethan at the peak of his international acting career, and the gentle and enigmatic Ariel. Entangled in Ethan's pursuit of this irresistible creature is an engaging mix of very real and absorbing characters. An often gripping and entertaining tale which I thoroughly enjoyed.

A heartfelt story of love, family and honesty. I genuinely loved it. The author seems to have an effortless style for setting a scene; it is beautifully descriptive. Focussing on finding the truth in who we really are and what is of foremost importance, we travel the globe, with believable characters that remain with you long after you've finished the book.

Wow! I thoroughly enjoyed the constant need to turn the page. Intriguing. Real. And well written. Bringing two people, who are worlds apart together, the author weaves a compelling story. I thoroughly recommend this book.

Author Victoria Carisimo certainly knows how to get readers invested in her characters because I certainly feel passionately about their choices. At the Chameleon, Turn is an impassioned romance novel that explores loyalty, love and facing your fears in intriguing and dramatic ways that make this book hard to put down. This is a riveting love story and one romance readers will get lost in. A great book.

The character development in the story is superb. Ms. Carisimo demonstrates an excellent ability to entice the reader into the tale. One feels as if they know the characters. The reader can sense Ethan’s disenchantment with his life. You can also perceive the magnetism between Ethan and Ariel and his uncertainty concerning what to do about it. The author incorporates a wide range of emotions into the narrative. Each of the main characters is believable with multiple layers. Even most of the less likable ones are described in such a way that you can better comprehend their actions, making them more credible. I thoroughly enjoyed the novel, and highly recommend it
